Stocked up on some teething gel today, only 70 odd pence! MIL bought enough Johnsons baby toiletries for me to open my own stall at the market so didn't need anything else!

I've still got stacks cos MIl bought loads and I only use a tiny bit of baby bath!

    MFD - your welcome :)

Af arrived safely and Feelie has no lappy!

Sami - do you have Feelie's number?

Sm - that is a lovely pic! You should take advantage of the 1 free christmas cards Mookie posted and use that one!

lol Hubby was [STRIKE]pestering for rudes[/STRIKE] wanting a snuggle on the sofa, accidentally caught my wrist which made me instinctively whip my arm away accidentally hitting him on a dodgy bit of his arm, making his hand go dead and setting me off in a fit of giggles! :rotfl:

Oi, we're not so bad over there - that's where I started on MSE and where I met Marley :p Seriously, they're lovely people, just that most of them have too much time on their hands. If anybody wants to venture in, let me know when and I'll accompany you so that you don't have to wander in on your own .........

I don't know! I'm central to three different SS centres and haven't ventured to any of them yet, although one of them does send me a quarterly newsletter listing the activities - I just received the "autumn" one at the start of November, so I've missed most stuff! I wish they had decent websites, perhaps I should offer to do one for them. Our HV doesn't reside there, she's at a clinic building even closer to my home, so once the midwife visits finish I shall venture over there for weekly weighings. I know Baby Massage happens at one of the centres and also at the clinic; there's a song-and-story session for under 2s at our local library; and I think there are various tumbletot days; but no baby signing, I'd have to travel further for that (I've looked that up on tinternet).

I'm between 3 sure start centres too and have been two of them -- they are generally very good.
Beenie, I took my sister in with me when I had Aimee... I was silently contemplating just taking myself off to the hospital and doing it alone at the time... But when my waters went I bottled it and called her...

lol I wanted to do the whole me and the midwives thing too but had a cs in the end and needed oh like you wouldn't believe whne they put in the needles for the spinal!!

thanks ladies i just need ideas on what to do. with me working P/T my thoughts were that he would be able to spend half the week with them and me the other half? if it ends up with childcare then i will have to have 2-3 childminders and/or after school club? its all so confusing?

Tia your kids are beautiful :D

caz am a few pages back at the mo but has anyone mentioned getting a live out nanny? You can get ofstead(sp?) registered ones so that you can claim tax credits and as you have 5 children it would prob work out the cheapest option.
