  • Hello :)

Just having a hot roast pork and stuffing baguette and taking a break from work.

Have worked out a plan to finish early by travelling a bit further south (towards home) for a meeting at 2.30pm :T With a tail-wind I might be home by 4.30pm instead of 6pm ;):D

How lovely to be eating without a little boy demanding that he has a bite too :D I even put a little bit of salt on my pork!

Thank you :). I was going to pop into town and go to Clintons after swimming but came straight home as 1)it's raining and 2)the mummies and daddies were required to go underwater today so my hair is wet.

    Morning All :hello:

Really need to start getting my *** into gear over Christmas. I think framed photos of Andrew are in order! I've got cards, but that's about it so far. Thank goodness for a small family who believe in :money:
Photo cards are 69p +P&P at vistaprint here Calenders are 99p +P&P too! (eta £5 quidco too!)

    Liam's are onroute :)

I haven't done Xmas cards but have used their postcards to do DH's 30th invites, our wedding thank yous and Caitlin's thank yous when she was born.

With the exception of Caitlin's cards (because I wanted them ASAP), I paid for the slowest delivery and they still arrived within 10 days. I also paid to upload a pic of Caitlin and bought envelopes, so hers cost me about £30 for 100 (still loads cheaper than Snapfish and Photobox at the time).

I got 100 wedding thank yous for £3.50ish which was just the cost of the slowest delivery. I uploaded my own photos too (they had an offer on at the time).
  • Afternoon all. Busy day here.

Doctors this morning, then quick visit to my parents to drop a few bits of there (all of Izzys too-small clothes are now stored in my old bedroom...), then a visit to mr T. Izzy was nackered when we got back, but refused to sleep, so shopping put away, lunch made and eaten (and shared generously with mummy's skirt) and here we are. Still need to clean up lunch stuff which is EVERYWHERE then time for a nap. I was going to make butternut squash and carrot soup for tea, but I think I now going to go for having a nap too, and opening a jar. Will still make the soup for our tea, and Izzy can have it for lunch tomorrow instead :) I managed to buy the biggest squash I have ever seen, so I will be able to freeze a load for her too. And maybe even some for my lunch on Monday too!

Anyway, best get this floor cleared while the going is good - she has taken all the tea-towels off the holder and is busy making a nest with them and cuddling them - definitely time for a nap very soon I think!
