hello - seems I have missed lots!

Congratulations Maz, the newest arrival is soooo cute. What a gorgeous wee boy :D my friend just had a wee boy and called him Thomas - which I thought might go well with Henry :D

Good luck on choosing a name - it's sooooo hard isn't it?!

been a busy bee here in r.mac towers. Baking lots of cakes and pulling together the business side of things for a hopeful launch in January :D That's the plan anyway.

Lo aslepp so I'm off to get some lunch and sit down for half an hour.

I've never heard of POETS day before! up here today is known as Mad Friday coz most people finish work and all go out on the lash!
It was mad friday last year that dad was taken to hosp in an ambulance :( If anyone is ill this year I'm gonna strangle them! I haven't had a proper Christmas for Christopher yet due to illnesses so I'm not letting anyone or anything ruin this one!

Anyone else having the rediculous thought that MOTM's Lucy might be poisoning him so he is dependant on her like those psycho's you see in films? :o :rotfl:

Oh, mad friday! My mate went out last year all dressed up in fancy dress & my hairdresser had to go as something beginning with a W.
    sounds very mad.

am hping u get thru christmas without any illnesses!!

MFD - yay for finishing work today! OH's last day is 23rd back in on 4th - but they said he could have half a day christmas shopping so gonna get him to take it on the 23rd
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

    you flatter me SM......:D

I would say you can use stork, but I would cut back on the quantity a little and use a wee drop of hot water (half - one teaspoon or so) to help the icing sugar be squigy. Butter gives the best flavour, but if you are making it a chocolate fudgy flavour anyway, then stork should be fine :D

would you like to see another picture of a christmas cake?

Got today off as I had too much holiday left, then Monday I'm in, Tuesday I'm in but my boss decided it was a good day for a full-day team review of results and plans for next year, before taking us out to some ridiculous Michelin starred Icelandic restaurant  so not much work will be done. Then that's me til Jan 4th yay!

I meant to say, lovely tiny baby and also that picture of all your boys, Maz :D and I think I didn't comment yet on Weezl's unbelievably gorgeous Fergie pictures of a couple days ago? I was inspecting them for signs of airbrushing they were so good :p

I might try my hand at cake baking of some kind during my holidays! I like various cooking but I am not much of a baker at all. OH and I combine to make a nice pumpkin pie, and a nice but overly sweet (she likes it that way) pecan pie... I might get brave and try something new though :)
