I'm still breastfeeding on demand... I actually can't remember what she started with... Could have been toast or a piece? She mostly shoved it round the highchair, missed her mouth and spat stuff out to start with but she picked it up remarkably quickly... Tonight she had pasta with a minced beef and tomato based sauce... She ate about 3 of the 5 pieces of pasta I gaver her and half a slice of garlic baguette got sucked to within an inch of it's life... She followed it up with about half a banana... Some things break up too small for her to pick up which accounts for most of her waste, but what she can get in her mouth tends to go down well... She's also starting to master drinking water from a beaker tooHi Krystal
I was just wondering things like when did you start? What did you start with? Do you still BF on demand while weaning them? I'm assuming so as they don't really 'eat' much of the food to start with.
I've had my tree up a week and a half!
I've cheated a little with the baby led thing, this afternoon Aimee had a carton of rice pudding she didn't like so I spooned a little into Caitlyn.. And the other night I spooned some shepherds pie into her... But only because we were in the living room and I didn't want it wiping up the sofa... Apart from that she's pretty much fed herself what she wants... A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Just a quick hi and bye.
Congrats to searching's Phillip :T
Tara - difficult one with the money loss. You've done well to mention it to the friends father without anyone knowing you thought it was daughters friend. Personally, we have girls moneybanks downstairs in a cupboard where it's only permitted to go into with an adult present (me - or now me or Lucy) That was mainly because I didn't want girls raiding it for sweets and junk, not because of potential thieves.
Just a quick catchup, sorry if i've missed anything.
Hope you have all had a good day.0 -

Urgh, I think I'm coming down with something... Have a runny nose and have been sneezing all afternoon... Probably picked up a germ from some grotty kid at the zoo today... Hope it's nothing too bad!
Got a pile of stuff I should be doing right now but can't seem to drag myself off the sofa... Also, hubby's playing that stoopid xbox again... Why should I be busting my ar5e doing stuff if he's sat on his?!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Hugs all round, I'm off to bed now the monster is safely fed and back down. She's been so good today - one major meltdown, one minor one and one superlatively well timed spit up on the hand of a strange woman who was attempting to touch her face.
WHY do people think it's ok to touch strangers' babies? Hands and faces - out. It may be permitted to wiggle the toes of a baby you don't know. But you don't get to touch her face, and you don't EVER get to argue with me that it's ok. I'm her mother, it is flu season, you are a stranger and you do not know best. GRR.
Anyway, goodnight

Hiya ladies!
Tons of ages since I logged off about 24 hours ago so I doubt I will be able to catch up with everything - will have a quick looksee though.
Go Rhysy!!
Bad nights all round here last night. I think the curry didn't agree with me and I ended up in bed in a cold sweat before 11 absolutely refusing to let hubby touch me. Neither of us slept and Benjamin woke 3 times too which is unheard of these days! Hubby did go in to him first time though which is unheard of once we are in bed!!
I had a 2 hour nap with Benjamin this morning and hubby managed an hour this afternoon
so we may still be awake at bedtime.
I have been mostly cleaning and wrapping gifts today with the Now Christmas CD on at full pelt
I keep meaning to say I have a 10% off code for Ernest Jones if anybody wants it...I don't think I will use it...although just checking their website
Nope - can't see anything for me or mum!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman
