Stuffed!!

Made a Chicken Balti, with rice, poppadoms, garlic and coriander naan and mango chutney.

Im going to pop!

Oops - I just decided to add Sultanas to the flapjacks (will add chocolate later ) and just remembered BIL doesn't like 'squashed flies' - oh well, more for me and OH!!!

Gonna make a shopping list in a bit - got Elle's RR recipe at hand but other than flour (plain & SR), sugar (got brown & caster), eggs, butter, bicarb and baking powder, golden syrup, almond & vanilla flavouring is there any other basic that I'm missing?

Icing sugar and sprinkles? (sorry, missed what you're making.. or are you just building a store cupboard?)

Great actually! I'm just under 75kg, and when I went to the Doctors a few weeks ago I was 79.5kg, so that's a.......10lb loss, yey!

I have icing sugar and *rumages around* chocolate sprinkles.

Will add them - am hoping that if I can get enough practice in I can make my own wedding cake! Althou it will probably be cupcakes

Did I mention how much IL's are doing my head in? :mad:

OH announced to IL's we were spending xmas with them :mad: got a glare from me and said 'Oh but we talked about it' - we bl00dy well didn't! Am a bit annoyed but at least I don't have to worry about doing dinner - I then told OH in that case we were going to my mums for NY to which he replied 'Oh, I thought Mum and Dad could come to us' :mad:
!!!!!!? They live 4hrs away and drive me crazy after more than a day!

They left on Monday and said 'We'll see you again at the end of the month' - they don't ask they just assume they can come. They also always manage to break something when they come - MIL was pulling the washing machine door and I shouted 'There's a time delay, the light will flash' 'I've not touched it'! Bl00dy liar I could hear her doing it and the same with the oven - she asks how to use it, I say I'll be there now. She's done something because you now don't hear the gas when it comes on :mad:

Also end up spending more when they come cos they want to do stuff or fix stuf.

So far they have broken the door handle on the downstairs loo, the handle on the baset drawer in the freezer, the gate handle and the garage door!

glam id be fuming ..... if he was struggling with common sense you should of knocked some in to him ..

brownies in oven im using that toblerone as its just sitting there so at least its a nice treat for zoe tell you how it taste when it comes out x

Hi everyone!
HAve I missed anything important?

We are all good here, I have partly solved my childcare for work dilema.
I phoned them this morning and explained to them that the nursery doesnt open until 8am the same time as my shift starts, but the nursery is literally a 1 min drive from my work so would be 15 mins late max, she said that was fine, I and that she'd rather have me working 15 mins late than having to pay agency staff for a whole 7 hour shift!

So now I need to find the money to pay for the nursery deposit! £130 :eek:

ooh inlaws. they always do something to make you mad... lol!!

when my mil comes to visit now, she will put away the dishes that i;ve just washed and had to leave cos Kian needed changing/feeding--- as if i cant do it. or take the rubbish out at nightime -makes me feel like i'm not doing anything. most of the time they are fab though. and they will babysit on most occasions for us.
fil broke the handle on our patio door one summer, we could only open it from the outside i was fuming for ages as thought it would mean brand new patio door (they are massive) till i realised i could fix it myself.so i did
