:eek::eek::eek: My maternity leave has finished! But I had to go back for 4 weeks to keep my maternity pay.

I'm leaving again in January because of OH's new wages, i'm in that strange position that on our new joint wages, its not worth me working.

I've not started my wrapping yet, last year I ended up staying up until 4am on Christmas eve doing it! :eek:

Okay, maybe not.

Let's just say she's staying the night. The spare room is nice and cosy and she doesn't have work tomorrow, so she's staying over.

The girls love her. We decorated the place, had a good dinner, the younger girls got what seemed to be their entire collection of books, toys and everything else to show her, the older ones a little less was brought down, but they've been having a great time with makeup and hair accessories, as Lucy is also very feminine and loves things like that.

Girls all in bed, apart from Lucy who is upstairs sorting out a few bits. We had spare toothbrushes etc and she's just getting comfortable with what bed sheets etc she feels more comfortable with, then she's coming down for a chat and a cuddle before bed.

She was nervous at first, me less so as i'm at home, but it took a few seconds of my girls and she was okay

we used to have to go to everyones house to open gifts, but Jasmine started to crack up with going out, so now everyone comes to my house throughout Christmas day and gives the presents over !! And I get to sit on my bum and have a drink, safe in the knowledge that I do not have to go anywhere !!

None of my work. My girls are to blame (I trained them well)
