How long until you go on maternity? Maybe she's jealous that you'll get to escape her for a few months but she'll always be stuck with herself
Yes, I think I'll do just that actually, although as I said before, she is very 'up' herself...I'm sure she never really was planning on telling me about my misfortune, and just preferred to call me a 'silly cow' and laugh at my expense (being the second time it's happened, that's obviously how she sees me) I go on maternity leave on Friday!!Also got the bloody washing machine up the greek, so toilet training is going out the window plus am running out of clothes...eek, and still need a wee! Oh God...

Now, is that a "don't think of any more kids" or "naughty MOTM thinking of getting his leg over":rotfl:
Yes - we met at work almost 8 years ago! He is about to leave to be a policeman, and i'm about to take extended leave to be a Mummy!
We handed in notice today, at work and at nursery!
That's a career change
Have a good maternity leave. :T0 -
money_maker wrote: »No, but the doc on call is only 5 mins from my house, so its not hard to get to, and its in the hospital so if its too long a wait, I'll just go to a & e.
Can I be completely honest ?? He is scaring me slightly, but I think I am overreacting, becasue he is blowing bubbles like he did when he was in neonatal and had the fluid in his lungs and every time he does it I keep crying
Aw hun, if he wakes again call them. I'm worried and I'm over the water!scaryknickers wrote: »I certainly keep that in mind if she does go on and on about it for no reason at all other than to spite me, as I can't reach behind me now to 'sort myself out' after I've been to the toilet, unlike I could when I wasn't pregnant, but knowing her, she'll mention it just to win points; she's that pathetic!...
I lost the other quote, but when I was pregnant with Amber my washing machine broke down. I was washing my knickers in the bath (along with everything else) not to be reccomended!money_maker wrote: »tia linked to that the other night, I sent a naughty one to Chris !!
Do you all do the santa tracker on christmas eve ?? Shows you where he is and has a countdown to when he will be in your area so the kids need to be asleep !!
I didn't link to it, must have been someone else.
I keep meaning to track santa and usually forget, we all going to remind each other this year?0 -
Phew - finally caught up, and now its bedtime! :mad:carlamagee wrote: »As you all know, im not great on the cooking front, but I would love to do a dessert to bring. Anyone have any easy suggestions and recipes? I dont mind trying it out a couple times beforehand!!

They come in real glass or ceramic bowls, so you can pretend you made it yourself.
We're ordering M&S dinner again this year. The most un-:money: way to do it, but its so easy and nomnomnom!I was diagnosed as having PND todayI hope you don't mind me mentioning it - but not really wanted to tell anyone in Real life yet, but thought you guys would understand.
Huge hugs RMac - well done for speaking about it now! :T
I wasn't diagnosed until DD1 was 5 years old! From DS's birth until DD1 was 5, (8 years!) i'd just assumed I was just going crazy! I remember doing the questionairre you mentioned, and ticking the 'right' answers!
I was happy that this time, i'd know what to look out for - and I wouldn't be ashamed to admit it.
How's OH? Is he helping/understanding?
MOTM - how did it go?
Hugs also to Dylan, Benjamin, Edgar and everyone else who is/has been poorly.
I think today I have three healthy children - it's been a while since no one in this house was poorly!
Yey for searchies water/warm! :T:beer:0 -
oops, that was meant to say tara not tia sorry
I am not as worried now as I was when I put him to bed, the calpol seems to have helped him and I have the cot raised so he is at a fairly good angle. He sounds a lot better at the minute and hasnt yet woke up, although he will one of the times I keep going in to check on him !!!
Hopefully be OK, but I will def take him down if he wakes up caughing again, and I have the sleeping bag out to sleep on his floor tonight so I am there if he needs meThe two best things I have done with my life
