I used to like your hubby... :p

What's wrong with MFD and I? *hand on hip*
If he thinks Tia and I are a bad influence he ought to meet the others ;)
    :rotfl:

    What she said
well you know how you were talking about idogs last night? I'd never heard of them so randomly asked hubby what one was... Cue him all defensive "what do you want to know that for?" which got my spider senses tingling... Combined with the fact he went to home and bargain last week... Then about an hour later he asked me if I'd seen anything I shouldn't... Guess what he's bought me off the girls....
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    Ooops!!

They are really cute! And he should have just kept his mouth shut in fairness!!

There has been a package from Play on our dining room table for a week now (best move it before MIL tidies it away!) which is Beatles Rock Band (the game, not the instruments) for the Wii. Hubby keeps asking what it is and I keep telling him it is a gift for my brother so he doesn't catch on that it might be something for him!!

MOTM - I agree with MFD (remember she is a wise woman;)) I don't think you will get to know each other's personalities from the first date, which you will will both be totally nervous on...whereas the second date you will have gotten all the awkwardness out of the way and will be more relaxed and possibly more 'yourselves' you will have a better idea of whether you both want to keep seeing each other and that would be the ideal time for her to meet the girls:)

Well Kai went off to sleep in the travel cot downstairs until 8.30:D he is starting to look a little tired again now though so am bouncing him in the bouncy chair....he is so snotty, poor thing:(
OMG the rain has started and it is torrential, typical as I wanted to go the skip today and get out and put the spare desk and computer chair in the shed!!! I am very pleased with the dining room (soon to be baby safe room) it looks much better, less cluttered.

    Hope everyone is well

    Mel x

Hi SS How was your trip? Why rancid?

Grrrr, I think I need Tara's strictness in everything being put back in it's place after being used!!! ds2 has put rockband on the PS3 and he can't find the 'bit' that plugs in the PS3 to activate the guitar!! They had it up in their bedroom and it has probably been swallowed up by the junk monster that is the room.....I could do with chopping their room off the house and takig the whole thing, in one piece, to the skip:mad:

The basic principles are... They can sit up striaght for short periods of time and they have the ability to pick something up in their hand and bring it to their mouth... Pop him in the high chair and pop some bits of pasta on the tray for him when you have your dinner... If he doesn't eat them it will give him something different and interesting to do while you eat...

Caitlyn seemed to be nowhere near sitting for ages, she was just kind of slumped forward, then one day I noticed she was propping herself up on her hand... The next day she just sat... She's got more straight in the back every day since then... We've had a couple of tips over but not many... And not enough to make me prop her up with cushions or anything... She was 25 weeks when she sat up alone so Edgar isn't behind her :)

Mfd, you around? Hubby said I can't talk to you anymore... You too Tia....
Thank you :) I wasn't worried about him being behind just that 'everyone' is so eager to give him food I think they'd cry if I said they had to wait longer :rotfl:
jaydens lazy he can do it to a certain point then he just flops forward and head butts the floor (good job its soft) :rotfl: whats ed like? x
Ed can't really do it at all, he can balance for a little bit on my knew but on the floor he justy crumbles in a heap:p He's got very rolly this week though - does that thing where you put him down, blink and he's about 6 ft away :D

Bit of a disaster here! I opened the curtains this morning to see OH's work van  I completely forgot he's took the car for MOT and service! I'm annoyed that he didn't remind me and that he didn't come to my mum's last night (because then he would deff kno i had plans today) and because the car if full off crap some of which is expensive which I would have removed before sending to the garage!!

It would be amazing if we did (me, maz and mel excepted) because the theory currently is that it's to do with smelling each other's pheromones :)

Glad it went well, we were all thinking of you :T

  • ETA: and Night MOTM :)

    Morning  :rotfl:

MOTM - after the second date maybe (at least see if you and this lady like each other!!) but after the first date seems a bit much TBH! What happens if you don't get on?

I hear your point, but she has met the girls before when she was at my friends and spent about 6 hours with them and they liked her. It was about 6 months ago, but I understand what you are saying about the timing of bringing her back home, but it was only if we got on well and it felt right.

I think I feel like i'm in a bad place as i'm trying to please the girls before I please myself, even if I end up being miserable :o

Thanks for the view. It's good to hear what others from outside the situation think, as sometimes people involved - myself and my friend who is her friend/work colleague - aren't seeing the whole picture I suppose :o
