My situation is this - I have a Ryanair flight booked for myself but now may have to take my 12yr old son with me, the problem is that I cant add anybody to my reservation online and the system wont let you book a flight for a child on their own.

Has anybody had a similar problem and how did they resolve it, i was thinking maybe book him as an adult and either phone CS and try get it tacked onto my reservation or just book as an adult and chance it as i'll be accompanying him or maybe more sensible to just phone CS and try book him a flight over the phone onto my reservation.

I have done this befoe and it's as you say. Make a booking for him as an adult, then call them with the two booking reference numbers and they'll make a link in their system somehow.

Hi, You just have to call the customer services and they will add for you at the same price showing on the website for the dates you selected.i know this as i have done it myself.it comes with seperate booking reference but will be found under your manage my booking and you just check in as normal, although you must submit the passport details of extra child on the phone to customer services.hope this helps.:rotfl:

We always book my grandchildren (2,2 and 5) as adults on bargain flights as it is dearer if you book them as children. We have as yet not had a problem doing this.
