Right, I've been sent my form for resetting my password and have sent off new password, memorable info etc. What is the next step. Do I get another letter, do they email me or do I just wait a while and try and log on using the new password?0
-
I have done the same, sent my form back with passwords etc.
if you wait a couple of days, try logging on to your account, if when you put your web ID on the first page of log in it goes to promt you for your password, put in the password that you have sent off.
If you put your web ID in the front page and you get - Your account is locked, you will have to wait until you are prompted for the password page a day or so later.
Mine took 3 days from sending off the form to relogging back in..................
Has anyone heard from EGG to see if they have solved the problem??
I too have contacted them, and deleted my Coventry Building Society account from EMM database, as if there is a problem with the EGG system i will probably get locked out again..... I am awaiting their response.:rotfl:0 -

Just got my Egg reply, the usual stuff that Coventry have changed their security, etc (same as RBS, Nat West) and they cannot give a timescale to fix. I will not be putting Coventry back on EMM once my password is resolved.0 -
Well, reset my passwords and sent it back. Can now log on directly to Coventry, but still can't make EMM accept my Coventry log in details, the
usual error message.0 -

I would be very careful about putting it back on EMM anyway as the lock out is very likely to occur again, Egg techies seem to be struggling recently. I have lost confidence in the system after this. Posted back my new password to Coventry yesterday and will try their website later in the week.0 -
That was my concern. I just tried to set up the new details on EMM, and it came back "maybe you have changed your details, or maybe their site is down), so I probably won't bother, as I have a fixed bond with them and until it matures, the figure will be stable and no variation anyway.0
