Euro - so sorry to hear that you cant get home for Christmas, can understand completely why you'd be upset! Hope you can get back soon.
Thank you everyone for the kind comments, i will definatly be visiting the doctors.
Had quite a relaxed day today, OH paid for me to get my hair and nails done which was nice. Then i came home and opened the christmas present that my friend bought me before she passed away. Was a lovely photo frame with a picture of us both in - was taken about 4 months ago on a night out - so that was lovely, there were a few tears but it was more in a nice way, if you see what i mean?Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
oh flower, what a lovely gift! looking at the pic will remind you of the good times. hope you get yourself feeling better soon, and glad no one was hurt in the accident.
so sorry to hear your news, euro. nothing to add that will make it better, i know how hard it is to be away from home at christmas (my parents are in the US). try to have a lovely day anyway and you've something to look forward to in january now.

Thank you for asking, i have been feeling fine but had another attack today.
It started snowing here at about 3pm and OH came to pick me up from wortk at 5pm. The roads were thick with snow and ice, traffic moving at about 5 mph, but one man obviously didnt want to wait in the traffic - he ended up smashing into the side of our car.
Although no one was hurt an ambulance was called when i started having another attack - i was given oxygen etc..
OH wants me to go to the doctors as he thinks its all related to my friends death.
Macgirl - i will be discussing all my options when i see the doctor, thank you for the kind offer you made me, i will let you know how i get on at the doctors and what he suggests.
So not only that, we now have to get the car sorted out
Aww, I'm really sorry to hear that FlowerI hope the Dr can refer you for some CBT. The offer still stands though
Take care xx0 -

Don't just let them fob you off with pills. They may be necessary as an assist but ask for psychotherapeutic help (if you're doctor is any good, he/she will suggest this anyway). Bear in mind that some pills (if offered) may fog up your thinking a bit and inhibit any psychotherapy.
If the above sounds a bit presumptious, I do believe that most people would benefit from some type of therapy - even if it's only to discover that they don't need it.
I needed help like this quite a few years back (different issues from you). As is often the case, the stuff I originally went about was only part of what I needed to sort out.
If you get the right sort of assistance, you'll be just fine.
I totally agree with this Paul. They offer CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) these days for panic attacks. Problem is waiting lists are long (in our area at least) and privately it costs a bomb. The good news is, it CAN be overcome.euronorris wrote: »I didn't make it.
Flight was cancelled again as Gatwick was closed. No more Easyjet flights to London this side of Christmas. And after spending 5 and a half hours at the airport yesterday (again), I really don't want to try again.
Getting my case back took an hour an a half as no staff in the building knew where to direct us and there was one very rude KLM member of staff! Grrrrr
I'm soooo sad to hear that Euro! I'm praying that you can get another flight and get backxx
