I will be taking out a loan for around £15K which I can get no worries but I have just worked out that if I can make £10 a day for the next 4 years (the life time of the loan) then teh loan will pay for itself type thing - am I being ridiculous?New surname New start!

MinnieMe ecxuse me for being blunt but yeah, I think that idea is good in theory but may not be the best way to go about it. How would you go around making £10 a day? What if you couldn't manage it for a few days/weeks?
If you wanted to get a new car then you could always try to save your suggested amount of £10 a day for a few months thus, at the very least, making the loan smaller. If you paid off any outstanding debt first that may also help as you won't need to worry about commitments.
Obviously this is only my opinion (had you asked me earlier this year I would have said go for it!) as I tend to live safe now because I don't want to end up with no cash to buy nappies/food for my babies.Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10
Aim for 2011 - pay off car loan £260.00 saved
