Awww......boo hisss and double hiss. Fingers crossed for you (and there I was grumbling to myself about a trip along the M4 to see my folks in London !!!!)
    Love Sassers xx

    Thank you.

Thankfully, the flight to the UK is unaffected (with EasyJet), it's just getting back that's difficult. Bless my Mum, she spent all day yesterday worrying that I now wouldn't bother coming home!! Poor thing.

Am going to wait and see what the amended schedule from BA shows for my flight and will probably then book another anyway, just so I can relax. If I leave it too late the cost will increase and there'll be less seats available (if any).

  • Af'noon all!

Small PAD of £1.55 to the PAD flagon for me today.

I called my loan company and asked for an early settlement figure yesterday, and was pleased to discover that, for the first time in maaaaany a moon, it is below £3,000 (updated in sig) :j I'm hoping to pay it off in two weeks time when I've been paid, as I'm contracted to get a bonus in that wage packet. Another :j

Really, really hoping I will only have a small overdraft come the New Year, and, if I'm an ultra-thrifty pixie, not even that. :money:

Hope all are well and dandy. I'm not - too much wine whilst decorating the tree last night  Ugh.

Well done thrifty! Now sit back and revel in your excellent MSE decision to ditch the credit card this week when so many people are out there this week spending on them. The thread salutes you!

Haha. Thanks, Andy. It's weird but I feel strangely vulnerable without a credit card. I haven't used it in over a year, but knowing I had that buffer there for emergencies was comforting - even though I know it's false economy. Stupid, really, as I have an overdraft limit of £1,000 should I need it

  • Afternoon

Some fabulous PADDING going on today.

I like to report £2.79 to the tin and £1426.11, to one of the cc's, this should only leave me with a little bit left on this one so once it has updated I will finish it off.

Total Pad for today is £1428.90
