would like some advice from my fellow Pad'ders.

I have just been looking at my finances and i have 2 options. which should i do.

    1) i can tackle both wedding savings and debt in a gradual equal pattern and i will be debt free in September 2010

    2) i can tackle the debt and clear it by April (providing i get the bonus i expect) and then save everything i can every month for the wedding. if this fails and the bonus is less than i expect, i could always leave this on the virgin cc and clear it gradually.

The second one is a big ask and OH said it will be too much pressure. i think ive been this focused so far and have achieved so much that the skys the limit. i think i can do it.

    what would you do? xx

  • Congratulations Hopeful1 - it seems everyone's having babies at the moment! Must admit to being a tad jealous.

Keza - if it were me, I'd be inclined to go with Option 1, just for the certainty that we'd have enough for the wedding.

I have a second PaD today - £7.46 to the small change pot which means I can top up the wedding fund by another £20!

    Hi
I have seen your thread and like the thought that "look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves". My son was supposed to have a minor op today for a squint he was starved overnight and five mins after he got up I caught him finishing the last mouthful of milk from last night:eek: - went along to the hospital still hoping they could do it later ion the day but had to come home!!!! So am Padding £2 that would have gone on paying for the car park at the hospital:o.

My new little man arrived early hours Thursday weighing 7lb 6oz. He is absolutely gorgeous. The weekend was hectic, but quiet and calm has now been resumed :D

    Hey great stuff.
You will be the first person to weigh less after Christmas than before it. ;)
