Hi all, just another pad of £1 between the ccs today.

Will probably be off out later to do some shopping but it's really foggy so don't want to drive. :o Did I mention I'm a nervous driver? :o So will be walking to town rather than driving to a shopping centre.

My OH is away to visit a friend in Aberdeen for a couple of days so it's just me and the cats. The cats keep trying to eat the artificial Christmas tree, pull the tinsel off and play with the baubles. I dread coming into the living room in the morning. :rotfl:
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.

  • Hi all

Just thought id mention in case anyone knows...
I was in Bingo Britain this morning (with that ruddy doubletopp ;)) and was chatting to #Number21# who mentioned that BB is only half of the whole, the other half is thepalaces.com (where doubletopp is also a member (again) ) lol

Anyway he/she mentioned that Thepalaces also give £5 per day but he/she wasnt sure if you could do both, certainly you can have an account on both but whether you get the 30 days on both is ???

Im gonna go try anyway, nothing to lose :rotfl:

    Happy Sunday everyone

be interesting to see how you get on.

I keep forgetting that I am supposed to be an 18 year old girl when chatting and they keep asking about my brother I did get my son to play yesterday so that we were both online at the same time to make it look real;) and between us we won £35 although it is money for them not me but OS is fed up of playing now so later on I will have to pretend to be an 18 yr old boy - the things mothers do to get money for their children to spend on christmas presents still hopefully it will stop them asking for handouts  I know I could play prepaid games but the MSEr in me doesn't want to miss out on any bonus from CGs

OH's turn next but what is his is definitely mine :D

I have done very well in what have sometimes been awkward circumstances. I actually owe rather more than my sig shows though because I have a largish tax bill looming which I may need credit (if available) to pay for. When the amount has been calculated, I will add it to both parts of my sig because the bill relates to money earned before 1/1/09. Both the debt at 1/1/09 and the amount currently owing are a good few thousand more than the amounts on the sig. I reckon I will owe rather more than I did at the start of the year. And herein lies the problem. The more money I earn to pay my debts,. the bigger my future tax bills will be. What I need to do is to work at pushing my income up so high that I will have enough to pay the next tax bill AND to service my current debt levels. I still reckon I can achieve that but really do need low interest rates for a couple of years.
My fallback position is that even if I lose my home and end up BR, so long as I have basic shelter, food, and clothing, plus some sort of income, then I've still got more than half the people in this world. Happiness and peace of mind are, and always have been, far more important to me than material things anyway. Even financial problems aren't remotely as bad as the self inflicted problems I had in my youth. At least I have a free mind these days.

    Paul,
you really are an inspiration and I admire your outlook.
I wish you luck and you do derserve to succeed :A

    Hey DT

PMSL!!! :rotfl::rotfl: the lengths we go to for pennies eh :D

I check the T&Cs first and it states that although they will offer the additional whatever% bonus on deposits, they wont give the £5 daily.
I had a go anyway just to see  deposited £5 id previously won on BB :A and bagged myself a £10 so either way I win :D

Just going to wait and see now if they do check and refuse my £5 daily, im playing BB this month and then hopefully joining my hubby up, and brother, and mother and......:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Many thanks again FF for the bb tip. I think so far im £25 up, I was gonna share but seeing as how youve gone off on your jollies and ive no way of contacting you ....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: such a shame, thanks though chickadoo ;)
