Ooops meant to say "your" debt
Well done though, I wish my sig looked as healthy as yours:o:o
Don't know whether it's just for kidsthey used to fire them out for anything, so don't know if it's a financial or medical decision....
Hahaha, don't worry about it.
Ah thanks. It's been tough, but I've finally gotten used to sticking to the budget. I think the biggest change this month was that I didn't go out and spend lots just after payday. ANd I made myself add everything I spent to my excel budget so I could see the current situation. It really seems to have helped as I still got my haircut and bought a new pair of boots, so didn't deprive myself completely.
Yours is coming down too! You'll be catching up before I know it!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Doctors are definitely reluctant to give children antibiotics. I only take my son if i'm really worried as they just don't seem interested. I remember being sent away when he was a baby and being told he was a 'happy wheezer'. His 'happy wheezing' turned into bronchiolitus and then pneumonia  Boy was i a cross mommy!! It did teach us to trust our instincts as parents though, regardless of the status or qualifications of othersOne step at a time0 -

Aw thanks Flower - trying to be positve today but it's hard work.
Kind words from you all cheers me up. Lot's of horrible stuff going on here - not to me but people I love and I can only be there and offer a hug and a ear to listen. Wish I had a magic wand today or even that Mary Poppins `click' to sort things out.
Big huggles to all

Aw, that would be good wouldn't it Sassers - I often wish I could do the Mary Pops "Spit Spot" myself. Hope things turn around for you moneywise soon and that your loved ones get through the tough times
Hopeful, my elder DD was in hospital with bronchiolitis when she was a baby. It was very scary. Luckily it hasn't affected her and she's fine now.
The Doctors did give me Anti-b's up until this year for the kids.... Didn't know whether it was linked to the advice not to give them cough medicine or just cost-cutting
Anyway, little DD is improving - she's painting now :rolleyes:0 -
Aw thanks for the sympathy! Maybe it's a viral thing that your daughter has got, they don't give antibiotics for that do they, it just has to go away on it's own.
Bless her though, she must be a bit fed up after 2 weeks of it!
Euro, well done at sticking to your budget - I do the same as you with adding things to my budget - sometimes I do it before I've even spent it so I can see how it will affect everything. I'm actually a bit sad with it - my budget rolls over month by month with all essential expenses on it, for example I've budgeted for £100 in January for my MOT. So if I decide to go on a £50 shopping spree this month I can see exactly how short it will leave me in Jan, which is a good deterrant!

Glad I'm not the only one Silaqui! My bf has got a bit fed up of my constant budgeting, but it was only because of that I was able to give him a substantial amount of money for his Christmas gift this year.
I wouldn't normally spend that much on anyone, but he has helped me so much this year (both financially and emotionally), I wanted to give him a little extra for Christmas.
He's going to order some robot thingymajig with it.
And, believe it or not, I'm actually grateful for the time my youngest neice caught bronchilitis. Without it, she probably would've died in her sleep! It brought to light a problem she had with her heart. An extra aorta, so this and the other aorta were going either side of her windpipe and crushing it.
If they hadn't been investigating the bronchilitis, they never would've known and she would've just stopped breathing and that would be it.
Thankfully, they found it, removed the extra aorta and now she's fine. That child runs around like crazy! It's only the small scar on her back that gives anything away!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Af’noon PADers!
OK, first things first...
Jo – well done on being DF!!! That is soooo exciting and you’ve worked really hard for it...
Flower – I'm ever so sorry to hear about your friend and hope you’re doing OK...
Flying_Fresian – any chance you could PM me the Bingo details too do you think? *winning smile*
And welcome to all n00bs!
OK, now PADs...
Saturday: minimum payment of £236.10 to my loan
Sunday: minimum payment of £58 to my credit card
Monday: £2.25 into my shrapnel pot
Grand weekend total therefore = £296.45
I’ve also had some rather exciting news. Thanks to a gift from my folks after the recent loss of a relative (my step-grandmother, whom I never met) and the sale of her house, I came into a little bit of money this weekend, and have since been frantically going over and over in my mind (and spreadsheets!) what best to do with it. Therefore I will, hopefully, be able to make a rather exciting PAD later in the week.
Hope you are all well!

Woohooooooo !!
I've just checked Saturday's numbers and I've won the lottery.
It's not too hard to keep my feet on the ground and I promise the tenner won't change my life. In fact I spent nearly that much this morning on Christmas knicknacks from the various pound shops0 -
Yay! A tenner is always welcome!
I recently got 4 numbers, but my Mum kept the money in order to pay for my tickets! hahahaha.
Oh well, guess I'll just have to continue working for now! lolFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0
