Oh Millie! How much did you mean to send? At least you've got savings though hun.

Green, i don't have a dog but am very curious - how do you stop dogs from nipping???

I didn't mean to send the a payment at all as I've already paid £150 this month off this card, I meant to select the date for the £600 to be 31st dec when we next get paid but I ticked 'immediately' instead so it's been sent now, how stupid am I?????
Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £0

Thanks Keza! It does sound like the sort of special-effects-y movie that's really worth seeing on the big screen. I quite enjoyed Day after Tomorrow but only saw it on dvd, I'm sure it would have been awesome at the cinema!

I'm glad I only seen it on DVD...was going o.k until the silly wolves turned up...they just spoilt the film!

:rotfl:glad you asked cos it made me look back and read my msg again and I hadn't said had i??? doh!!!

Well there's 2 ways, the nice way :D and the erm not so nice way :o

first one is to hold a treat or something that they really like, in both hands and cup your hands together into a ball shape, let pup sniff etc like they do and every time they try to nip/bite you hold it back, its surprising how quick they do learn to just either lick or mouth you to get the treat, or even, dare I say, as they get older sit patiently looking at you to get the treat.

The other method if they bite is to hold their bottom jaw with your hand and hold it for a few seconds - its not as bad as it sounds honestly but it really does work for those persistant little !!!!!!s!!! The first method didn't work with Millie and after she made my hand bleed I used the 2nd one, she only licks or mouths me now. and yes thats what the dog trainer showed me.
