  • Evening All . . . Back from another 12 hours at the coal face . . . Good Lord why do people seem to wait till everyone else is holiday before going sick !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Angelic, we do indeed get punters . . . loads of them ! Despite having an Asda opposite LOL . . . Some stuff I suppose is a little on the pricy side but as we make out money from it honestly instead of selling the stuff for less than we bought it for and then slipping the odd pence on here & there throughout the rest of the shop whilst screwing over suppliers & farmers I can't say that's a bad thing. . . The company also pay the staff very well for retail so I can see where the money goes. I suppose I don't realise the cost as I've never really bought chart stuff which is where the supermarkets focus their attentions so I'm used to paying extra for my music & film and having a beast of a time tracking it down to boot. We do often joke that we should go down Macro & buy a couple of pallets of baked beans and whack them out for a penny a tin as it's not what we specialise in just give Walmart a kick in the nuts . . . Also we get Asda staff coming in to ask us questions so they can help their punters which is always ruddy funny but that whats you get when you rotate between the bacon counter & CDs - you either know your meat or your beats !

Right my PAD - LOL I'll get down off my soap box - £3.52 to various tins please !

  • Evening All!

My pad today is £10.00 please Sarah!

I re-joined fat club last week :o but went to get weighed for the 1st time since I started and have lost 4lbs! :D
Dieting is something I can't do on my own and the thought of the 60mile round trip (& paying £5.50 ) to get weighed was enough to make me stop eating :rotfl:

Off now to have my after fat club treat which tonight is a bag of chilli doritos!

Hope you've all had a good day! x

  • Evening Peeps,

    My PaD today is £7.91

Still waiting for pesky o2 transactions to hit my CC - that's why I'm still awake as my account online is refreshed at midnight. Not that I'll be able to do anything about it until the morning though.

Hope everyone has had a decent day. Hump day tomorrow! xx
