Have a nice cup of tea and a biscuit, get out some old photos and have a damn good weep. Then have another cup of tea.
Not sure I can be of more use so....*hug*0 -

I've suggested more erm physical methods as well but still maintaining that the stork will be bringing the new arrival! Despite living with the father before any suggestions of inappropriate proposals.

Ladies please! I was a week overdue with DD2. I had the old "sweep" with the Midwife, then bounced on a swiss ball all day, had Fajitas for dinner, then...... bingo - contractions!PigginSkint wrote: »Andy: Sorry for your loss.
I've had an eventful week. My Dad got shipped off to hospital in an ambulance on Sunday - he was really struggling to breathe. He has been on oxygen, nebulisers and (I think) antibiotics all week and he came home today. He is much better but has been diagnosed with COPD.
DS and I had our swine flu and seasonal flu vaccinations last weekend. I think DS reacted against one or other or both because he has been ill all week and has been off school all week - bad headache and feeling really light headed. He was a lot better tonight when he went off to his Dad's.
Sorry to hear about your week Piggin. Hope everyone's better soonjediteacher wrote: ȣ1.28 for me today.

Sorry to hear about your Grandad, Jedi. It doesn't matter how long ago it is, you still miss them, but I'm sure you have happy memories which make you smile0 -

The story goes like this...
I went on hols just after the financial year ended/began (whichever way you want to look at it) then onto maternity leave so I will have taken a full 39weeks leave during the financial year which obviously means I get to dis-regard £3900 from my income. My problem is that I won't have been paid that much by the time April comes again so not sure what I'm going to say to them! I am also going to be dropping to 12hrs (works fault, not mine!) but I don't know how much I'll earn so I'm not sure how if I should tell them that or just leave it! HELP!!
Anyone else with any thoughts are more than welcome to join in with this conversation!!
Sarah could you please put me down for another £10.00 today! Thanks for the totalising!!
Hope you've all had a fab day! x
Have you been paid Mat Pay Angelic? If so, this is counted as earnings. I would agree to just phone them up and explain. I have spent so many hours scratching my head and digging out P60's and wage slips and sitting there with a calculator - it is a PIA.
But when I have phoned them, it is so simple. Just ring them.
Don't forget to have details of any Childcare fees you had had to pay if applicable - it all counts.
We don't qualify any more, but they certainly came in handy when we did!
Good luck, hope you get it sorted x0 -
PAD for today is £10 please Sarah - thanks x0

Sorry to hear about your Grandfather jedi, I think F_F has the best advice. It's always best to cry when you need to, rather than bottle it up.
Have just realised what the time is and need to go get ready for work

So, having scraped my purse for money, can I please PAD £1.25 into my sealed tin?
Thanks!
I didn't think Halifax ever sent payments til Monday? I may be wrong though. I usually use Natwest. Even though their payments don't go out til Monday they still debit the balance straight away which i prefer. I like to see the money gone!!jediteacher wrote: ȣ1.28 for me today.

Big hugs Jedi. F_f's right about a cuppa and a cry. I still have the odd moment of tears for my nan and she's been gone 15 yrs. It just shows how lucky we are to have known such special people xxx
