Come on guys, it is fairly obvious that English is not the OP's first language.

OP, do you absolutely have to have a car? Not everyone can afford one.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

I thought that but the clues are there
    username
uses words like bounce as in to bounce a payment -
phrases like 'try to get away with'

    sounds english to me!

I think FAWD1 hit the nail on the head TBH!

  • I think the op sold all of their punctuation

    "'' I *"! bought,.?: it.^*" off>,: him!!!!!!!!"""

Its not fairly obvious by the username.

If my user name was MohammedSinghBotswana would you assume me to be English? Nah.

I agree with beenie speak to your mortgage provider and see if they will give you a payment break or if they will wait the extra week for the payment until you have the money in the bank. If not then forget your car god gave you two legs use them its only for 1 week after all.
Sound advice, except OP does not appear to use coherent sentences, so I doubt this will help.

It's perfectly possible that the OP's first language isn't English or the OP is dyslexic.

PJames, if I were you I would pay your mortgage first and foremost. The car can wait. If it isn't taxed take it off road (on your drive/friend's, garage). In the mean time catch a bus until you can afford to run your car. Try walking some of the way to A) get fit and B) to save on some of the bus fare.

ETA: Do you or your wife have push bikes? Before I got a car I walked, cycled or caught the bus.
