    Honestly?
I think you should post a more readable post...

What have you got (money) and what do you need to pay out?

Your post is just a random jumble of words - post something which makes sense.

So you are saying your options are

1 - Pay your mortgage, but don't pay for car tax or MOT but continue driving the car and hope you don't get caught.

2 - Don't pay the mortgage, use money to fix/tax car and hope you can afford to pay the mortgage soon.

Clearly the sensible option would be to pay your morgtage as a roof over your head is most important of all. Look at buying a bus pass as you can probably make it cheaper than £3 each way.
Honestly once you miss a mortgage payment it will become a downward spiral. If you pay this months next month, how will you pay next months without being skint again? Then Christmas comes and before you know it you're 3 or 4 months behind on your mortgage.

If all else fails, could you ask the mortgage providers for a months payment holiday or something? If not i would try to remember that not being able to use your car is definitely temporary, but once you fall into the trap of overdue bills/mortgage payments then that's less temporary and a lot more stressful.

I agree with beenie speak to your mortgage provider and see if they will give you a payment break or if they will wait the extra week for the payment until you have the money in the bank. If not then forget your car god gave you two legs use them its only for 1 week after all.

  • If you don't pay your car tax, you'll get a month to pay a GBP40.00 fine which goes up to 80.00 if you don't pay it by then.
How do I know? Forgot to change address on registration doc and reminder pack went to the old address :-(

If you're going to not pay the tax, tell the DVLA you've taken the car off the road and make sure it is until you can pay the tax, or you will get an automatic £40 fine. I think asking for a mortgage holiday may be the way to go, but make sure they have agreed before you don't pay it this month.

P.S. Please try to reread your posts before you post them, you'll get a better response.

Considering the time of the original post and it's level of coherence is it possible the OP has been spending his car/mortgage money on some evening entertainment of the alcoholic variety instead? In which case I would suggest your current best purchase is some paracetamol!!!:rotfl:
