Laptop From Asda. Not Working

In the middle of sept my daughter purchased a laptop from asda. She needed it for her uni studies. She had so much stuff to take by train to uni when she moved away, that she left all the packing at home. She just took the laptop in a laptop bag. It did. Apparently the battery had run out and the laptop had gone off long before she realised it had been running on the battery.
