Hi yes when i say processor i mean pc lol
tower unit thing.
I know you say it needs drivers, but can i get these without connecting to internet?
I will try the CUSTOM and hardware updates as soon as, thanks.
yep you can, just download them on a computer with internet access and transfer them to CD/usb flash drive/external hard drive etc and install the drivers on the old machine.0 -
Is there a user name and password you need to enter.
This may have been on the old pc so it just auto logged on ..the new pc may need this to be entered once.
I am sure you will need this if you use outlook for your email.
I am with Virgin cable and changed my router and I am sure I had to log in manually first time.0 -

I've been with Virgin previously Blueyonder from the start and in the early days when I swapped PCs I had similar problems. If I remember rightly it was down to the new MAC address not being accepted by the ISP, I had to contact them, they led me through a couple of CLI commands and all was well. I'm still using the original Motorola Surfboard from ten years ago but there have been no recent such problems. That said I'd give them a ring I must be one of the few to have almost no trouble with this company.0

I also have never had problems with them, they have helped when i have needed it
Thanks peeps for all your advice, i am going to do them one by one and see what sorts it :T0 -
Forget my advice. I dont know what I was thinking
You need to find the disc that came with your computer and load the driver via that
OR
Your going to have to use another computer to download the drivers and the software to possibly figure out which driver you require:idea:0
