MBNA Loan

APR of 13.9% if that is of any help?

Hiya Wullie, If your apr was 13.9 with a loan over 4 years your repayments would have been about £136.38 without PPI. As yours were £150 this could be because of extra being borrowed for a single premium but it would have only been about £500.wullie-eng wrote: »hi,
As above the loan is 5k over 4 years @£150 per month well its actually £149.18.
APR i do not know as i have lost my policy, awaiting copy to be sent by MBNA as we speak.
Wullie
This would mean your loan was £5000 and your PPI £500 (which seems a bit low TBH) and then your repayments would have been £150 a month over 4 years.
Hope this helps.0 -
So in short no PPI.?
Thats not so bad, i'll get it squared up next month.
Thanks ever so much marshallka!!
Orra best.

No, not "no ppi" but cause there is a discrepancy of £500 so that could have been PPI. I think its best to wait for your agreement and double check. The repayments would have been about £136 for a loan of £5K with APR 13.9 and over 4 years and yours were more than that being £150 so maybe the other was PPI???wullie-eng wrote: »So in short no PPI.?

Agreement finally through the door today.
£5000 borrowing over 42 months @ 13.9%APR @ £149.12 per month.
Total charge for credit @ £1263.41
No PPI included.
Guess that clears up my questions.
Thanks for the advice folks.
All the best.

Hi Wullie
What about on your statements?
Why I mention this is because I recall reading that someone else received their agreement, where this shown no PPI, yet this person was still paying out for it.
Thought I should just mention this just in case.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

hi di
I dont think i have ever had a statement from them? infact i know i havent!
I have asked the question to MBNA and once again they have confirmed there is no PPI.
I have posted on here and read over my agreement, no hard evidence there is anything present so i'm quite happy to be honest...i think ?? hehe.
Thanks for all your advice.
Best Regards,

Hi hun
With pleasure.;)
To save me going back through posts.......did you ever request a SAR from them?
The only thing is for a SAR request there is a charge of £10, and you don't want to go paying all that (in case there is nothing there to prove any PPI).
Just another thing I thought I would mention for future reference.:D
All the best hunni
