Does anyone have any info on Sky launching a residential broadband service? I've heard rumours that it will be this summer and may be free to subscribers of their top TV package.

Any updates? Suppose Sky waited to see exactly what Orange did but in the last report I heard it was suggesting a June launch for the Sky broadband. On the top Sky package at the moment so kind of keeping my eyes peeled on this one...0

I still think Talk Talk will beat both Orange and Sky's deals. On Orange, you are comitted to spend £30 at least to get the broadband for free.It looks like Sky will want you to spend £40 plus per month to get "free" broadband. That is fine if your a telly addict but not so good if your just after a cheap bb service....Neil0

Read in the press at the weekend that Sky are looking at possibly taking over AOL UK. Wasn't clear whether this was just to get a pre-made base of customers (2 million +) or whether they need this to be able to offer their imminent broadband package, which I thought they had brought out easynet for...0

Sky will be offering free broadband, lets face it there's no other real reason why they would by easynet.
As for details etc, well we will have to wait, but I would recommend keeping an eye on sites like ADSL Guide and the register as these will report first.0
