    Evening lovely peeps :hello:

I remember Halloween parties as a kid too, dressing up and bobbing for apples etc. We were a swede family too :D

Halloween signifies something different here these days. We almost lost DS on Halloween 4 years ago, when he was 7. He had a gangrenous appendix, and was actually in the operating theatre at witching hour - we told him the witches and wizards must;'ve done his operation. We make sure we give thanks every year that he's still here, and he insists on chatting through the events of that day.
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches
Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I come from Lancashire witch country and my teenage halloweens were spent at a pub on pendle hill waiting for Alice Nutter to make an appearance.....she usually did after enough cider....:rotfl:

Sammy - we used to do that too! :rotfl:

And when there wasn't a trip organised to Pendle Hill, we would just pick a closer pub on a closer hill and do the same! :D
