Hello to all and sundry!!
I have been missing in action for a few days as my mum came to stay and I've had a busy few days!
Today's plan for me is do do a quick bit of shopping, get back, carve two pumpkins with the girls and then we are heading out at 5 for a local halloween kids event at a local park!:j
Then back home for pumpkin soup and the x-factor!!
Agree on the twins Sammy...they are a hoot but need to go now before anyone good gets kicked out!:eek:Just keep passing the open windows.0 -
Morning Sammy, Ellidee and rcj....disgusting weather down here so still in bed. Nothing planned for most of the day. Catching up tonight with a friend who's been travelling for the past year - I'm sure X factor will be on in the background at her's so won't miss out!YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -
Morning all. Not much exciting going on here at all. We have inexpensive Halloween candy in case of any trick-or-treaters, just in case. We didn't get any at all last year, but you just KNOW if we didn't have any available, some would show up!!
Our one Halloween tradition for ages has been to sit down together as a family and watch "Hocus Pocus" which is a fun movie for Halloween. The little ones will be in bed (a bit too small for this one), but DD is looking forward to it. It'll just be a nice relaxing family evening, so I'm looking forward to it.
We don't watch x-factor, but have seen all the hullabaloo about the twins and such. Wow - I wonder how much longer this show can continue, the controversy seems to get worse each year (which is one of the reasons we no longer watch as it seems the choices of the judges are a bit premeditated, choosing some that are truly awful in order to shift public vote for specific winners, passing up some singers that clearly are better).MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0 -

Morning,
Kids have a party later to go to and are so excited. We're off swimming with a friend later as well but right now DS and I are watching Rugrats and lounging in my bed, is lovely.
Weather stunning here right now, hope it continues, I'd like to go for a walk up the Wrekin again tomorrow and need to go for another run as well tomorrow.
I have planned lots of cooking for this weekend, pumpkin pies for DH work, my work and my WW meeting as well, and a few recipes I want to try.
Maybe should shift arris then...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
I too have a party to go to - will be dressed as a witch! and I also need to get stuff done, but am also on the sofa.
I set the run up for the guinea pigs last night - connected to their cage, they had a good time night but figured out how to get under the cupboard so I have spent some time this morning taking the legs off said cupboard, and hoovering up more Guinea pig pooh then I thought it was possible for two tiny creatures to produce!
I am going to get off the sofa and make breakfast......................

Morning everyone :hello:
No party for me, but the kids are busy carving their pumpkins - the house stinks of it. We'll put them in the window tonight so all the local darlings know they can knock on for treats :T
Other than that, I'll be catching up on chores, then HM lasagne and garlic bread for dinner followed by X Factor :T
Back to work on Monday :rolleyes:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
