Broadband For A Mac

Firstly, Zen & I beleive Demon both have dedicated Apple tech support.

USB Modems will work on a Mac and most ISP's tend to give out the Thompson Speedtouch 330. Now as posted aboive the Speedtouch is currently incompatible with Intel based Mac's, so if you have an intel based system you will need a ethernet router.

If you think you will need tech support then I would recommend Zen. They are a bit pricy and will charge a connection fee. But it is a monthly contract which is probably best at the moment.

Yes. I have 3 Macs, 2 with wireless (G4 Ibook & Intel MacBook Pro) and one (Dual 2.5 PPC) connected directly to a DG834G wireless router. Airport Extreme is just Apple's name for Wireless. It is all very easy to setup. If you have problems either post or pm me and I will do my best to help.
