Any advice about cancelling gym membership?

Hi,

I thought i might get a bit of help on here, as ive tried everything and running out of ideas.

Ive signed up to a gym in August, and because of a new job, and low income, I have tried cancelling with the gym and also with Harlands, but they are refusing to cancel my membership.

Harland told me that I had signed up to a 12 month contract, but i said to them that the gym never told me that i was tied into a 12 month contract. Harland has continued to state that i am not able to cancel my membership. I ve tried contacting the gym but they are refusing to reply to my letters and emails.

Please need some advice
