CRUNCHY pickled onions - from a shop..??

I haven't the time to do my usual pickled onions this festive season coming. Does anyone know of a brand available in the shops which they can say from personal experience is reliably sweet and crunchy?
My love for pickled onions flies out the window when they turn out to be mushy!

My Hubby is a pickled onion fan and in the absence of these Barry Norman ones that were around a couple of years back he thinks that the Tesco Value ones are really nice. At 31p a jar, they're worth trying.Val.0

My favourite (plus b-in-law's favourite as he practically lives on them!) are Garner's. They do the original big ones and the sweet pickled ones and we like both kinds.2025's challenges: 1) To fill our 10 Savings Pots to their healthiest level ever

I see someone else has suggested Tesco value, I was going to suggest Sainsbury's basics pickled onions. Maybe they are made in the same place?
It's only a game

They had these in B&M earlier in the year for 39p - they were over £2 a jar in the supermarkets.
I love 'proper' pickles - like the OP said - mushy ones just don't do it for me - yuk!
They're lovely with spices & dark pickling vinegar so they almost 'burn' your tongue when you eat 'em - ooh - my mouth is watering now0 -
i RECOMMEND GARNERS TO JUST LIKE HOMEMADE.X0

No, they're not the same, according to Hubby. The Tesco ones are better, apparently.Val.0 -
I really like Haywards, but they are a little bit expensive at over £2 a jar. I got some tesco own brand the other day and they aren't very crunchy at all, very soft infact. They aren't the value ones though, haven't tried those ones. xMarried the most amazing man 05/12/09 and it was the best day ever, I'm a Mrs, he he!!:jWins 2009: Peroni Alessi bowl woohoo, 1 in 10 wins DVD from Maltesers, Avon lippy!!!Freebies-Bold Gel, CoffeePinecone Research - £9Mystery Shopping - £150

I'm sure I saw those in Sainsbury's a couple of weeks ago. I remember thinking that pickled onions were an odd thing for Barry Norman to be endorsingI can't remember the price though, sorry.
