Just ask for the PAC code and use it within 30 days to move to a pay ando go sim with another network (thats the easy option I use).

I ended vodafone contracts by asking them to turn the phone into pay and go (after contract end date) - that works too but best to use the PAC code approach.

With the PAC code - best to use it the moment you get it - affectively 30 days notice then (you basically end up paying for 30 days without having a service - works ok for me with cheap deals).

Either email them cancellation or ask for the PAC code (thats if you want to keep the number, and will be getting a new contract)

Keep a log when when you sent the email, just incase they haven't cancelled after 30 days.

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies

Just remember if you cancel you lose the number.
If you want to keep the number you need to ask for a pac code and use it inside 30 days.
You can do one or the other but not both. . .
