CAB helped me without sending me to Payplan. BUT - the initial frontline guy was useless. I had a council tax 'bill' to pay, which was in dispute. He told me I had to make an arrangement to pay or I could go to jail. So we set up a deduction from my benefits - which I later found out I had no right to cancel. So when the dispute was sorted and they admitted they'd made a mistake I had to fight to get the money back. Also, the specialist debt advisors didn't follow my wishes. I wanted to make a complaint about one of my loans, they said they'd write and then didn't. I think with CAB some are good, some are dire.

There's also Christians Against Poverty, which I've heard good things about on here.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Nevermind I had a dream last night about my hampster that died ages ago (of natural causes I might add) and that it was still alive and I forgot to feed it and give it water so it died - waaaaaaaa, dont think any more pets are for me!
