Does anyone use simply fone?

I read the article in the Phone and Utilities section on the site about making free international calls from my mobile using Simply Fone and just wondered if anyone here has any experiance with them?

Friend has just moved to spain and only has a mobile so I'm looking for a cheap way to call. I'm with O2 and it says they allow this loophole but I'd rather check first that just using it and getting a huge bill.

Yes you can call 07744/07755 numbers from your O2 inclusive x-net minutes up until the 30/6/2006 .After that O2 will be charging 25p a minute to call them. SF dont support calls to Spanish Mobiles from their 07744 number anyway.

O2 charge 35p a minute to call 0871 numbers!!!!

But simply fone is 07744. I'm thinking I'll just have to try it and see.

just noticed that https://www.simplyfone.com have now publishe on their site a new 0870 number for theose of us with 02 contracts (stopping 07744 from july):T

The Directory is a list of their other access numbers. Its got nothing to do with 07744 access which is what you were enquiring about.Your see that the access number you are referring to is a premium rate 25p a minute one.
