Sounds like a good compromise and at least stops you feeling guilty :A

Yawn...........I feel sooooo tired this afternoon.

Managed my run this morning :j The snow was so heavy I could hardly see going over the tops! But it felt ok all things considered.

My glutes and thighs are still very sore. :( For the past 2 days I've been walking about like I'm in the last week of pregnancy - leaning back slightly waddling stiffly.
Sitting on the loo is a KILLER :rotfl: :o

Still the good news is I've lost 2lbs since my last weigh in 2 weeks ago :j:j:j I still have a long way to go, but I haven't been trying that hard so I'm pleased.

10p's on scratches and little DD found £2 today while we were out and about - but that's about it.

Am going to do some Ebay and Amazon listing this evening, but this afternoon I'm just going to veg :D

well done on the run, etc, and just think how fit you will be once the *ouch* wears off!

Well done too on the 2lbs off - that is superb!

Thanks Hypno - hope you're doing well too!

I'm just torturing myself again by looking at houses I can't afford.........

So far so good, and I am sure the scales will show a loss on Wednesday if I carry on as I have done so far :)

I haven't stopped looking at houses, despite the change in circumstances. Bizarrely, I may be able to move to dream location much easier now as there is no one to compromise with. Eg, I don't mind if I don't have a garage, as long as there is parking and space for a shed.....OH didn't want anything other than detatched, which ruled out Georgian townhouses and Edwardian Semis......and of course, detatched was always going to be more expensive. Also, of course, in 4 years time, both children will be at uni, so potentially I would only be looking for a property that suits ME, and as long as it has room for them to come home to, it doesn't have to be huge! I have much more choice all of a sudden, despite the reduced "budget"!!

So, I may be able to move in a couple of years as planned, which means that property !!!!!! still forms part of my week!

That sounds like a very positive and appealing plan! The flip side of all this is that you really can suit yourself, which must feel quite liberating.

The opposite is true here. The older houses of a decent size are much more expensive than the 4 bed detached ones. I grew up in a 70's build, so really love the character of period properties, but we're about £100k short!

I still look at them too and make detours when out running to pass ones I covert...One Day!
I have blind faith that one day we will live in one of those houses. Luckily DH and I do have the same taste in houses, if only we had the cash :D
