Do I get a prize for being the latest person to join this month's challenge?
I feel like I've taken a real back seat on the debtbusting because of doing my accounts (the whole saga is on my diary, I won't say anything about it) but now that they're finished, I realised I've done quite a bit more than I realised, so here's the situation right now:
£157 3 bingo sites.
£26 compensation from Virgin for being completely carp, including a £3 reduction in monthly bill.
£80 reduction in my bill from my accountant, actively negotiated, which I've never done before.
£2 Christmas stocking fillers from M&S Penny Bazaar last week.
£9 Tesco deals last week.
£3 train deal on Sunday
£5 Boots voucher the other day, started off hamper of Xmas pressies for my sister in law.
£282 total! :j
And its nearly all in little bits and bobs - the only big thing in there is the accountant's reduction, even the Virgin deal actually came in four parts. So unless you add it up like this, you sort of don't notice it. I know I'm preaching to the converted on this thread, but I need to spell it out for myself.
Thanks everyone.........2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Well done Karma, it really is amazing how the little bits suddenly add up isnt it (and sadly the other way around too). It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Thanks scuba! I'm really pleased, I must say - its only once the paperwork is out of the way I had the time to add it up. I wanted to include a massive (for me) paypal thing I got, but that was in October, so I thought I'd better not :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hi I just have a query about Bingo Britain. Depostited £5.00 yesterday nd played the whole lot to get my £5 bonus today. Really pleased won £10 today. But I understand that to get the £5 bonus for 30 days you have to play the full £5 daily. I have played my £5 bonus today but it's taken the money out of my cash balnace and I'm wanting to build that up to withdraw. My bonus balance is reading at £3.80 will I still get a bonus tommorow? Can anyone advise me on this please? Thanks0

£9.34 saved in Tesco today - I used my vouchers too (sorry I know I could probably get more for them if I wanted a day out) - food is more important than going out and I have a National Trust card so can go to their properties for free.
Oh and 1000 Consumerpulse points for doing one of their surveys (they don't send them very often).0 -
