Sarah that's great! What a brilliant achievement! You must be really chuffed with yourself (tried to put you some clapping hands on, but it's not working lol. Think all the hyperlinks on the forum seem to be playing up.) Anyway- CLAP CLAP! I think I might copy you next year and do that myself... seems like a huge challenge but will be worth it if I stick to it :D Small update- £13 m/s and £14 eBay xx ooops, and £5 my half of a lotto win lol and £35 saved from water d/d not paid so have transferred into my ISA :D

  • Hi everyone,

My first month and I think I am doing ok. I sold a stack of stuff on ebay last week and I'm waiting for that to hit my account, and I have listed more stuff this week but of much lower value. Every penny counts though. I've also registered me and hubby on bb (thanks to savingholmes for advice on that). :j DH has won a tenner on his first go! :T So £5 up and I have won £5 but accidentally played some of it, when I meant to play my bonus so down to £3. I'm not declaring any of these things on my total as yet. I'm only declaring what has actually hit my account and is available to whack off my CC.

Also I applied to AQA this week and received an application pack. I've filled in my 'test' and application form and sent it off. I really hope I'm successful because it means I will be debt free in no time at all and I can continue this for my MFW. No change to my signature amount then but later this week, watch this space....

I'm having a total pants month for sales :o

Must go through a couple of receipts though as I know I've got some Boots points and some good savings from normal shopping to add!

Well I'm doing totally rubbish this month, so have resolved to put a lot of stuff on ebay tonight. I have a crate of things under my bed and they're already photographed and on my computer, just need to get it together and stop tending to my farm on Facebook!

Still, I have pretty much made my £10 a day for this year (as I had some very good months earlier in the year) which I'm very pleased about. Woop!

Thats amazing over a year really really impressive well done you :beer::beer:
    May 2015 £10 a day currently £208

Just been thinking about it and think that its a fab idea to have a years challenge as well as a monthly one. I am by no way brave enough (anymore) to do £10 a day as after 2 years of doing the challenge I am a bit out of it now but I would happily try £5 a day for the whole year so do £10 a day for at least six months. |Oooooh sounds fun!!! :rotfl:

I wonder if I've done £10 every day - going to check now as I've only not hit target twice this year so far

...Yes I have - I've made £4,571.36 so far this year

£10 a day would have been £3,220 so far so I've more than made the annual target

  • Wow, Jesa, that's an amazing amount you've raised this year. I think I'll keep a running total next year too as it is very motivating.

Well, I received £7.18 today from an Amazon sale and £10 from filling in lots of questionnaires. Just need a final push to get to this month's target.
