T-mobile FLEXT
Options
I am looking at this T-mobile contact for £40 a month, here my major aim of wanting it is because 0845, 0870 and 0844 numbers are in the inclusive minutes.
As I make loads of international calls using 0844 indirect access number, I think this will come in handy and I can ditch my BT landline. I have cable broadband so BT line is solely for international calls and calls to 08 numbers.
Any one using this please? Looking for hints and tips

You can only use up to 50% of your allowance to call 08 and international, anything on top of that will go on your bill.0

Are you on this contract please? as i have searched their website, but can't where it mentioned 50% of allowance to 08 numbers.Though the vision may not be the true future of man but it can't be completely beyond his control.0 -

So that we can provide these inclusive services for our Flext customers, you may only use up to half of your inclusive allowance for any calls to 08 or 0500 numbers and only up to half for any international calls.
I'd be surprised if you spent half your mins on 08x calls anyway. Surely most people will be making 01,02 or 07 calls 80%+ of the time.

Wow. Does this mean I can use this to call Pakistan/USA using 0844 numbers and direct all with inclusive minutes?i.e. full allowance on international calls.0

Most providers will block indirect access number when they find them out. Orang was notorious for blocking numbers as fast as they could. You may wish to ask this of TM BEFORE you sign up, othrewise your access number may beblocked and you'll still be in the contract.0

The number may get blocked if it is an indirect access number. However, you can still use up to 50% of your allowance for calling internationally (52 countries I think), which is charged at 40p a minute to landlines (the same as 0844 numbers), and £1 a minute to mobiles0

Blocking 0844 indirect numbers might be an uphill task for them, as the international call checker on this website churns out loads of these numbers every week
Any idea if they can allow 2 sims with different numbers to share the same allowance? 1000 minutes a month is way too big for me alone, love to share with OH if possible.Though the vision may not be the true future of man but it can't be completely beyond his control.0 -
