Not an NSD for me either. Had proudly updated my sig at 4.30 and then my boss kept me late, 2 hours on motorway, nothing quick to cook in fridge so resorted rather reluctantly to a TAKEAWAY!!!!!!! Have never felt so resentful with every mouthful of delicious Chicken inBlackbean sauce with egg-fried rice. Didn't get prawn crackers though - as punishment. Updated sig AGAIN. Guess I shouldn't count my NSD's until they are hatched.
Best of luck this weekend everyone and keep up the good work0 -
Number 6 for me yesterday, but had a spend day today - pretty pleased with my start though

I must confess that I had visions of being a lonely BMF on this month's challenge when I started the new thread. I think it is wonderful that so many folk are--in effect--bucking the trend to spend for the sake of spending at the most full-on temptation time of the year
[That sounds like a load of gobbledy-gook but I know what I'm trying to say
] There is so much emphasis on 'buy me! buy me!' for Aunt Ethel's goldfish or Cousin Egbert's star gazing, that to even contemplate not spending anything at all is an achievement in itself.
I'm contemplating a visit to our weekly open-air market tomorrow with the reasoning being if I can't get what I'm looking for there, I know I've to look while on another shopping trip. Anyone else have kamikaze NSDs, who are prepared to take one for the team & the budget:rotfl:
Gunna update The List. Will someone stick the kettle on so we can get to meet the newbies over a cuppa please--no sugar for me; I'm sweet enough!

Still only one NSD day so far this month so really need to try harder. But I am spending loads less and only if really really needed (Honest)
Just about finished the xmas pressies (not many to buy for in the first place) so not bothered by all the hype (at the mo).
Hope everyone has a fab weekend xx Come on WALES later in the Rugby (fingers crossed im home in time to watch) :beer:0
