In our Tesco, there are clear signs either above or below every item that is included in the offer. Cucumber was not. Some of the pre-packed grapes were included in the offer. Not all the items included have the actual stickers on them, you need to check the produce label on shelving. I bought Kiwi fruit yesterday that said on the shelf that they were included but it is not on the actual packing.0

That explains what happened to me on Friday.I bought six wrapped fruit/ veg items and expected to get the cucumber at 34p free but when I checked the bill I got a bag of onions at 50p free so was quite pleased especially as a couple of the packets ( not the cucumber)were reduced for quick sale.0

Popped back in the morning and asked. I was told a whole cucumber is not on the promotion, but a half cucumber is

Hi all
normally buy my fruit and veg at the local market but as I was having my once a month del from Mr T and I had planned on using Saturday morning to do a massive bake in I ordered my veg from there this week. When the order arrived on Friday 10 - yes 10 - items were missing from my order! Including items I needed for the baking. Not enough veg arrived for the offer to kick in and I had to spend Saturday morning visiting Mr Sainsbury to get the rest of my baking needs. Tesco - very little help.True wealth lies in contentment - not cash. Dollydaydream 20060 -

I'm with you on this one Rachie B.
Somewhat creepy feeling that Tesco are 'TAKING OVER THE WORLD!!!!!!!!' (play creepy music), but have to say I'm very happy with them. Get lots of clubcard vouchers that pay for our holiday every year that we couldn't otherwise afford. The odd day out/weekend away too. The prices are low - OK, so there are some fair trade issues here, but lets not get THAT deep. The service is good. I can park there - free. Could go on.

 did u complain???
ive not had missing items but have had extra shopping that i didnt order / pay for !!! a large pack of pork loin steak things worth £5 :T and a few other bits n bobs
my gripe is that they use a million carrier bags  1 item in a bag sometimes
one time a carrier with 1 red onion in and another with 1 red pepper in
:rotfl:
and the packing leaves a lot to be desired sometimes, ive had peanut butter in with the bathroom stuff ,toiletries / bleach etc
the delivery guys are always lovely though

I have now stopped shopping at Tescos after seeing the obscene amount of profit they made last year. And are taking £1 for every £8 spent on the highstreet.
Granted a lot of that comes from the banking and the insurance side.
My husband insurance was due for renewal with them a couple of weeks ago. We went to a local brokers rather than renewal with Tescos.
I do know that shopping at any supermarket is not good. And as all of the supermarkets seem to do the same value range you can buy else where.
And the lure of club card is just not there for me. As I spend approx a £100 amonth of food and about £80 of that is in supermarkets the rest of the it the green grocers. I don't think spending £80 to get club cards is really worth my time and effort.
And my other concern is that they seem to be buying up a lot of little corner shops and turning them in to tesco expresses. I mean in a local town they have a tescos express and a few hundred yards up the road a 24 hour Tescos

I am another anti tesco-er. Thankfully I dont live near one so am not tempted.
They have become the retail dictators of the UK ! Shoppers are being brainwashed into believing that they sell everything at the best price.
The more I read of them, the less I like them. Sorry, better stop before I really start ranting!!!!0
