Hi, phoned to 'cancel' my contract, was on O2 online 200 (200 min/500 txt £30 per month)
Was offered and accepted 12 month contract 500 min/500 txt for £35 per month plus SE W810i, but upgrade isnt due until 1st June.
So, after reading some of the deals people have got on here i think i'm just gonna try and pretend to cancel before 1st of June, so i can try and get my price plan cut down.
Before i phone though i'd love to find a deal better than they've offered me so i can quote it to them and see if they can beat it.
Only one i can find so far is T mobile 500 mins and 700 texts, also £35 per month (and w810i for £9.99)
Can anyone point me in the direction of a cheaper and better deal, or give me some advice before i phone?

Take a look at the O2 Retentions thread in this forum - it should be on the first page most of the time. A lot of people have managed to haggle out similar deals to yours for about £20-25 a month. Whether you'll actually get such an offer depends on your past monthly spend, of course, but you've lost some negotiating power by accepting the offer they gave you.0

This is the thread but possibly better reading backwards through it for the more up to date info

just ring back and say to the person as i did,, actually i have decided not to accept the offer and would like my pac code as three have offered me 500mins n texts for £17 a month, i was then promptly offereed 300mins and 750 texts for 15 a month with a free phone,, and i am on a £19pm contract and never go over it so im not really a "valued" customer0
