    No, you won't. You will have to buy a Freeview HD box in addition. Or wait and buy a TV with a freeview HD tuner, no doubt these will come along shortly after.

    Seems things are heading towards hd so i will wait for tv's with the hd tuner.Cant be done with boxes evrywhere.....being a minimalist!

    Only problem is that if you wait for Freeview HD, then the next big thing will be coming along...probably 3D TV.

  • Well this is not technically true anymore ...more & more TV's are now being released with freesat HD already intergrated, almost all of the Panasonic range have them & the new Sony series for 2010 have it too (can get them now, all models starting with 58XX have a freesat HD tuner build in). I recently bought a 42" Panny plasma for around £700 & after doing some research was convinced I wouldn't need anything else for good few years. Got a good deal through this site 1080p televisions hope you can too. There is a pretty good range all with freesat in the Panasonics starting with the G series (I got a G10) & up! & they start at about ~£550. Hope that helps a bit.

    Was doing some research for the MIL and the only ones I can find are one line of Panny's, the Sony's, and a couple of LG's.
