At least you won't be receiving loads of begging letters from them.0

There is no appeal process with a private parking company, as you will find out when you receive a standard "your appeal is rejected" letter with an increased demand. Ignore it, and the empty threats from so-called debt collectors and solicitors that will follow.
They may pester you for longer than usual as you have contacted them and you will be on the "possible mug" list, but just ignore. They will go away eventually.
If your disputing the debt (amount of if it is even valid), then under OFT Guidelines they cannot pursue you for it, until the matter is resolved.

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -

Since when has your average PPC taken any notice of OFT guidelines, or any law come to that? Remember they are scamsters. They know very well they won't be going near a court, so they break every rule going just to get money from their victims.
Appealing, disputing, challenging, whatever you call it is always a mistake because it makes them think the victim is worried and they escalate the threats. Plus it saves them paying a £2.50 bribe to those nice people at Swansea for the RK's details.0 -
I agree with the other posters, ignore all future correspondance from them and they will eventually go away.Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0

Just wanted to thank all of you for the great advice. They were sending me letters every week and even phoning me at home. Eventually I sent one of the template letters and threatened them that I'd report them for harrassment to police etc. if I heard any more. I added that if they wanted to take me to court, I'd gladly attend and would hold their client responsible for all my costs etc. Guess what - I've not heard a dicky bird!
Thanks again guys!0
