most jewelers will either be able to do engraving or can send it to be done

i would suggest visiting to some local jewellers and asking them if they do engraving, then ask to see examples of their work
its a long time since I worked in the jewelers so I cant remember how much engraving used to be...but its not a fortune
oh and to mr negative up there....!!!!!! off lol
this is the wedding section of the forum, we are all looking forward to getting married and spending our lives with the person we love, no one here will appreciate you coming along and suggesting its not going to last and so its not worth getting a ring engraved

1 in 3 ish don't work out though...just suggesting you think before you spend on silly things you can't recover. This afterall first and foremost is a moneysaving site?0 -
We got out rings from Hatton Garden and we managed to get the engraving done for free at the shop where we bought them.
Good times!0 -

If you are truly advocating money saving then no need to buy rings at all.
Perchance there is a hint of romance in the OPs original question;)0 -

And this is the wedding board so having the ring you want isn't a silly thing.
Maybe you would like to advise all the brides to be, not to wear a wedding dress and to wear their dressing gowns to save money?
Or maybe you would like to suggest to forget a wedding breakfast and buffet and just get someone to do a chippy run instead?
Or maybe advise the wedding party to walk the 14 miles to the venue, to save on transport costs.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

No point in getting married at all - too damned expensive.:D0 -
I know this annoyed some of you but....Don't get them engraved as it will lessen the value when you come to sell them in a few years time.

I did laugh

(mind you I am divorced myself!!
) :rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0 -
By all means you can buy rings as an investment...but please don't mess with them! Still can't believe that Kylie has typed to me!
Typed to you?
I don't understand what this means
I wasn't having a go at you, just a little rouse
(As pure investment advice, it is very unlikely that buying jewellery of any kind will prove to be a good financial investment. There will be exceptions to this, but the exceptions will be a tiny minority.)0
