Wedding ring - engraving

Hi all,
We're about to go back down to Hatton Garden to get our wedding rings. We're probably gonna get them from A&S (as that's where we got the engagement ring from) and have already seen the rings we want.
However we were both thinking it would be nice to have each others name engraved inside the ring. Our rings are platinum and we were wondering if anyone could recommend a jewellers to do this, and an approximation on how much it would cost.
Thanks!

Don't get them engraved as it will lessen the value when you come to sell them in a few years time.

This is a money saving site though...save on the price of engraving and get top 'dollar' when selling in the future!
Wont matter about engraving - melt them down.
I think it is a lovely idea to have them engraved - sorry no recommendations as where to get it done, ours were done by a local jeweller, which is a long way away from you0 -

But you still have to pay for the engraving! Depending on the rings, they may be worth more as such, rather than scrap value as you suggest!0 -
Either way gordikin you arent answering the OP's question
I'm not sure of a place for engraving OP but having seen some god awful attempts before id ask to see an example before handing them over! What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -

You are 100% correct...I'm suggesting a money saving alternative...thinking ahead to what perhaps may happen?0 -
Thats a little pessimistic dont u think? How about not bothering to buy rings at all then if thats your attitude! What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0

By all means you can buy rings as an investment...but please don't mess with them! Still can't believe that Kylie has typed to me!0

Perhaps the OP isnt buying rings as an investment but as a physical symbol of their marriage and love.
Also meant to say OP that perhaps the jeweler could recommend a good engraver. What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0
