    "<name>, you f****** c***. I've f****d ur mother. ha ha mother f*****r!!"

Now, if that's what mothers want to hear other kids saying to their darlings about them then that's fine.

Apologies for anyone offended in my quote!

Have you ever been unfortunate to sit on a bus full of school kids?
That's pretty tame compared to some of the things I've heard:eek:.
(I live in a small village and the school kids use the service bus to get to high school, on some occasions I've been unfortunate to miss the earlier bus ).
TBH I sometimes wonder about the way films and games are censored these days. I've seen 15 rated films I wouldn't really want my 17 yo to see and 18 rated films which have maybe one (non explicit) sex scene/ bit of nudity, and a bit of swearing that I'd be happy enough to let my 13 yo watch if the quality of the film warranted it and it was on a topic he'd like to see.

    It's only a game

Not since I was one :D

That was one example. Plenty more examples but possibly not suitable for here!

Spot on. You've seen films rated 15 and 18 and have an opinion on what is suitable for your child. Clasifications are there as a guide and to stop unsuitable material falling into underaged hands. Ultimately, it's for parents to decide what is suitable for their child but in the case of games I'm sure that many parents are clueless. I wonder how many kids want a game and borrow their parents credit cards (with permisson!) without the parent taking any notice of what their child is buying or the rating. That's irresponsible.

this is off topic really but i dont think the content of games, films etc is to blame for how kids are today.
  • At lunchtime around 12:30 I tried Sainsbury's, sold out. Got home and called a few Morrison's, all sold out of 360 versions but still had ps3 versions....
  • For everyone frantically looking for copies of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 at a bargain price MORRISONS are selling it for £25.99. Not sure how long this offer will last but stumbled upon it by accident after let down from Sainsburys £26.00 (but no stock for Xbox) and Tesco £25.00 if you buy a qualifying top twenty game at full price. Went into MORRISONS for bits and bobs and they had a stack of the game on the counter. Its a great saving grab it while you can.....

I agree. It's the fault of the parents who don't take full responsibility for their children.

As for being off topic, perhaps, but it's just a warning to parents who are unaware of what they are buying for their children.

and heres a tip for any parents who want to stop their kiddies seeing the worst of the nastiness of the game. when they first put the game on there is a question asking if you want to skip the nasty levels. i am guessing the bit you can skip is probably the airport massacre level.
  • correct - and what a good thing they give you the option to miss these unpleasantries out.
