  • Yes Makro - just been on Twitter and it says £29.99 plus vat for Xbox.
  • I read on another forum from a poster who works in Asda that they will be selling it for about £27 on launch day but it depends on what the likes of Tesco does on the day. They sold Call of Duty: World At War for £27 on release so seems feasible. You can pre-order instore (I did) and they give you a till receipt. You pay when you pick up the game.
  • It's a bit late now for the best deals! I ordered my boys' for £36 each from Tesco direct, but that was back in August iirc.
The developers have this game at rrp £55 rather than £45 as most games are, that's why it's so expensive and all the cheaper shops have now increased their prices cos it's soon to be released.

Given that this game is now BBFC rated 18, I am not sure you should giving this to your boys if they are njot old enough to play it!!!!!! Ho hum!

Back onto the subject in hand, on the hukd forums theres a thread and apparently sainsburys are going to do the game for £26 but to confirm said price id call your store or pop down to your local on tuesday to check as the staff wouldnt be able to confirm the price, as to whether it would be released at midnight is anyones guess but that would be a question you could ask when you clal up to confirm said price

they see games as loss leaders,

they sell big games cheap in the hope that people buying the game will also buy other stuff while they are there eg do a full shop and thats where they would make the profit

I hate this "we cant sell before releaseday"-sh*t. All my freinds in Germany are playing the game since thursday....

Yet, i need to wait til midnight to even get my copy, never mind playing the game....
