Some belated pleasures for the weekend;
Feeding my equine pal treacle sarnies in which had cunningly hide his Bute, also having the foresight to take extra carrots to hold off his field mate whilst Bill took his medicine.
Standing in the paddock, looking at the very black clouds rolling towards and realising probably had five minutes at most to make it back to the yard, run and did it in four!
Sunflowers in a vase on my fireplace.
Not making too bad a job of clipping Tilly's legs and paws, to be fair she has only one bald spot.
A lie-in in Sunday morning, bacon sarnies and loads of coffee.
Captain Scarlet finally got the grass cut, found three tennis balls and surprisingly a single sock, think Tilly might have got her own back!
Welcome Smiley, another GOT fan here, we are watching the football so will have to wait until tomorrow0 -
Pleasures for today (still Monday...)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Smaller son had a teacher training day off school so spent the day picking gooseberries with my brother. They then sold them to the local farm shop and smaller son got £5!
3) Went to town to get bigger son a new school bag as his has fallen apart. Also steri strips to hold his leg together after he left a piece of it in Wales...
4) Went to see the hens (3 eggs) and got more raspberries.
5) Watched the football and ended up supporting Iceland.
6) A friend dropped off a late birthday present and card for me.0 -
I'm off for my Heart Op now.
Unlike England, it will not be knockout.0 -
Good luck BOP, happy landings!!!0

1) Lovely walk this afternoon ahead of the rain, warm breeze and beautiful flower scents all round the walk.
2) An amazing amount of wild food beginning to show, a very large number of hazel nuts set in clusters on the trees, the rowan looks to have been in flower at the right time for bees as the berries are tight packed in the flower heads, berberis bushes just covered in the dusky blue berries they produce, lots of crab apples and the holly bushes are just crammed with berries on all the branches. The only thing that doesn't seem to be good is elderberries and the flower head remains are bare.
3) Wild roses everywhere with a profusion of blooms on them, it might be a good harvest for rose hip syrup.
4) Passing a jasmine that was tumbling over the fence from someones garden and just white with flowers, now that was a treat and a heavenly scent!
5) Out for supper tonight, voucher to spend at the pub and a free pint voucher for He Who Knows, what's not to like???0 -
Good luck BoP, hope everything goes according to plan.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000
