The ACM doesn't take the temporary paper cards, only the proper ones. It can take a few weeks for a new card to come though - would you not be better contacting CS and seeing why it won't register your existing card online?

When you fill in account info online there isn't enough room for the temp card number so I clicked on the 'reward card help' & it states there that you can register a tempoary card in with your online account details but you can enter the number at the checkout when you've placed your online order....very confusing!

I think it has finally given up the ghost. I managed to place one order, and am part way through another. Its taken me over an hour to try and get 6 things in my basket! I think I will come back later.
