  • Do you get 1200 points for every multiple of £50 or do you have do do separate transactions?

Want to do the Benefit offer & two other things which are £70 & £30 each...

    21 x Karvol Decongestant Drops 12ml = £52.29p
    200 points per item = £42.00p points
    £12 points >£50
    £5 points with code

= £59 points and top cash back 3.5%

flog this for £1 bottle = £21 back...........

sinw - just out of interest did you actually get the 200 x 21 points per item in addition to the extra £17 points for spending over £50 + the code?

I thought that it was only adding the £12 points >£50 (i.e. not adding your normal points on that you would have gained)

I didn't actually buy ne myself, the points did add up too £59.08p in the basket, and yes it did put them all in!
    SIMPLES!

I stayed up til after 2am trying to order online. Finaly got through, put all the things in my basket then discovered the same as you, gave up & went to bed!

Was wondering why this happened? Nobody else seems to have a conflict between the 1200 points & the £5 off.

I'm wondering of the £5 off took your total spend under £50, as the 1200 points only kick in once your total spend hits that amount.

Yep thanks Claire makes sense to me - perhaps the system added the 4200 points for Sinw's Karvol on in error - a glitch maybe as the karvol was on a 200 points offer?!
    Who know's ;)

It wasn't an error in sinw's case as there was 200 bonus points attached to every karvol product you bought. Did you buy anything that had bonus points attached to it GB, is that what you mean by your missing 300 points?

A £50 spend with no other offers would attract 1200 points. Anything above £50 gains points in the normal way. So if you spent £60 you should have got 1240 awarded (1200 for £50 and 40 for the extra £10 IYSWIM).

Any other suggestions of what I could do to improve that?

Nope:D That the best i could come up with when i was playing about with my basket before the points offer started.

The £5 off took the total to £45.50. I was under the impression that if you spent £50 you could use the £5 off & get the 1200 despite the total being under £50 once the £5 code had been applied.

If that's not the case, maybe I'm better off just getting the 500 extra points making the points up to 1700.

You can use the £5 off code on a £50 spend yes, but the total spend after deductions has to be at least £50 for the automatic bonus points to kick in. So to use the £5 off code and get the 1200 points your total spend would have to be at least £55 before applying the voucher.

My mum asked me to get 2 things for christmas presents, so I feel a bit guilty about taking the third thing for free and all these extra points! Will give her the third thing to give to me for christmas - sorted :)

I used the £5 off voucher to get a free ben ten bubble bath for a birthday present for my son's schoolfriend. What an excellent shop :)
