    Salad potatoes, Not bad value
    cherry tomatoes, Not bad value
sweet potatoes, very small and not good value, the best value would be at Tesco or Sanusbury. (the value ranges)
apples Same size fruit as the kids apples so once again no real value.
butternut squash, the smallest size you can import to be fair best buying the next size up for a £1 from Tesco/Saisbury/Market as you get a better yield
blueberries plenty of fruit about at moment and should be better deals about on your markets (for those that have them).

These deals are getting slowly worse and are not the value they were 12 months ago.

  • having been instore i'd agree about the squash - not very impressed with the size
the toms were cherry plum which are my favs, so great value, and the blueberries are a perfect size for my son without having wastage so happy with those too

I bought some blueberries this morning, they are 125g packs and the variety is Misty from Chile.

Hardly any taste in them at all, I wouldn't break your neck rushing to buy any.

Sometimes though they do have different varieties so you may be lucky and get another one.
  • Anyone got any insider info on what will be on offer from tomorrow?
  • Think Aldi is losing out a bit by reverting to pretty poor offers as of late.

I believe they have not being doing that well in the UK, falling share and maybe even a loss iirc, but I am probably symptomatic of the people who no longer go there. When they had good offers you would go in for them but then buy other stuff at the same time (in some cases forgoing other shops entirely) where as I havn't been in Aldi since NYE when the shelves were empty.

There were a couple of types of salad potatoes, I got the Charlotte ones but can't remember the other type.
